Neimen Tze Chu Temple is an important belief center in Neimen District in Kaohsiung. In the temple, people worship Guanyin. The 19th of the 2nd month of the lunar calendar, the 19th of the 6th month, and the 19th  of the 9th month are the birthday of Buddha, narimichi, and tonsure day respectively. During these times there are a lot of worshippers, and the temple is crowded with people. The temple is an important local sacred place in the Neimen District just like Nan Han Tze Chu Temple. Religious and cultural events include a weekday pilgrimage, and a ceremony for Buddha’s birthday. On weekends, there are battle formation performances and folk custom research and study events; specialty sales, academic development, cooperative education, cultural promotion, building of an ecological park, planning of  multi-functional tourism and recreational farms and a diverse educational park will be the characteristics of future development.
