Hai Pu Presbyterian Church is a church with over a hundred years of history. It has been rebuilt 4 times. Currently the church’ architectural style emulates 18th century Gothic Architecture. At the podium, the picture of Lord Jesus leading the sheep, adopted the method of burned painting. After three refinements, the colors are very beautiful, especially under the sun’s rays at sunset. The color and tone of burned painting looks even better than glazing. From the gate of the church to the bethel, you will discover that the terrain becomes more sloped, symbolizing walking up the holy mountain. The three arches on top of the bethel windows, the four leaf emblems on the Educational Building, and round table meeting rooms, etc., the Hai Pu church adopts a lot of the allusive structures of the Bible and history. The construction techniques required a high level of craftsmanship.
